#105 – Women Who Wheel

History in the Making Anna and Rebecca met through the Facebook group, Women Who Wheel and have been good friends after finally meeting in-person for the first time in Ouray, Colorado for the Toyota FJ Summit event. The following year, the two met in Moab, Utah where they conquered several trails: including On Top of the World, Moab, Utah. Soon after, the two discussed future opportunities and decided they could see themselves as great teammates in the All-Women’s off-road rally in 2021, the Rebelle Rally! Anna is a single mom with one teenager daughter and works as an RN in the Neonatal ICU in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is her second Rebelle Rally and had so much fun the first time that she wanted to do it again. Also, Anna wanted to show her daughter that if you put your mind to it, anything is possible in life! Anna loves to off-road and has been off-roading for 5+ years now. She is a Toyota person at heart and owns a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team Edition that has been modified to go anywhere! Her personal rig will be Women Who Wheel: Team #105 primary race vehicle for the Rebelle Rally in October of 2021. Rebecca is a mom of a boy and girl set of twins and works as a Systems Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. This is her first Rebelle Rally and feels she is ready for anything after serving in the United States Navy for over eleven years. Rebecca has been off-roading for what seems like forever after being raised by a dune buggy competitor and VW/car enthusiast, her dad. She has had several modified Toyota’s and Volkswagen’s throughout the years and now owns her dream rigs; a 1972 Toyota FJ40, a 1960 VW Bug (RHD), and a 2018 Toyota Landcruiser LC200. Her LC200 will be the team’s secondary-backup race vehicle and will be going through modifications throughout the year to prepare for the Rebelle Rally.
