10TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 8 – 18, 2025

#116 – Yes We Cayenne!

Two strangers from very different life paths, but with a common goal of pushing out past their personal boundaries, found each other by chance and formed a team of balance. Jen and Michele were connected via the Rebelle Database in early 2021. From way down south to way up north, this dynamic duo is partnering from Georgia to Alaska – 3,500 miles apart. Driver: “I’m a mom, plain and simple.” Michele is a homeschooling mom of two teens that have been at home with her since birth. Her focus for the last 18 years has been as a caregiver, educator, and family adventure planner. With midlife came the realization that in focusing so much on the care of others, she had neglected her own health and self-identity. “Something had to change!” Michele reclaimed her health and lost 100 pounds. She started to explore new interests and prioritized self-care. She found her voice again, threw away outdated fears, and challenged herself to step outside of her comfort zone. As her kids transition to adults, Michele was left with the vast question of “what do I want to do next?”. She was looking for opportunities that pulled her in. Last year, while watching the Rebelle Rally, that pull became apparent. “At first, it felt a little too big, a little too challenging, and a little too much and that’s when I knew it was exactly what I needed to do.” Navigator: Jen is a 4th Generation Alaskan, and lives in Anchorage with her family. In her 22 year career as a hairdresser and salon owner, she has had the opportunity to work in many different capacities. Her skills and experience are varied, but her drive is unwavering.“The passion for the planet, creating a zero waste platform, and supporting my community is the WHY that drives me.” Her love for motorsports started at age 41, and she hasn’t stopped since. Driving fast, but with precision, she started with autocross, and moved into road rally as both a driver and navigator. Jen became enamored with the Rebelle Rally in 2018, and in 2020 decided to try to work on finding a partner to do it with. The drive to carry on her late friend Tracy’s incredibly adventurous spirit helped fuel the fire of desire for this competition.“There are so many variables to the relationship between driver and navigator. Many things must be complementary, but many more equal. Michele and I were married at first sight for sure! I am honored to be representing Alaska in this incredible challenge, and so excited to focus on supporting my community while doing it!.”
