Where Are They Now: LeeWhay Pasek, 4x Rebelle

For LeeWhay Pasek, the Rebelle Rally wasn’t just about competition—it was a turning point.
“At Tech Inspection in 2021, my rookie year, I sent a down payment on 200+ acres of raw land in New Hampshire just before we shut down our electronics.”
Since then, she and her family have built up a homestead, farm, and orchard. This spring, they’ll add another 350+ fruit and fodder trees and three goats to their property. “It has been an adventure.”

Rebelle Rally Field Update: REBELLATION

As the 9th edition of the Rebelle Rally came to a close this past Saturday, competitors and partners celebrated with a day of Tread Lightly! Trail Cleanup, massages, and the annual Busby Games. They capped off the evening with Rebellation gala and awards ceremony at the final basecamp in Johnson Valley.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 7

For the final day of competition, DAY 7 was split between two very distinctive sets of checkpoints, with the first 12 checkpoints of the day being in the Glamis Dunes and on route Enduro to Johnson Valley. Just because the finish line wasn’t in the Imperial Dunes this year didn’t mean the final route wasn’t challenging.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 6

Rebelle Rally competitors are pushing toward the finish line. DAY 6, presented by TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication, is the first of two days in Glamis spent chasing checkpoints among the giant dunes. Teams departed 30 minutes early this morning to transit 290 kilometers from their final basecamp down to their last marathon leg, where their self-camp is located for the evening.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 5

The competition is heating up as Rebelles left Dumont Dunes today to made their way further south to the final basecamp on Soggy Lake, nestled down in Johnson Valley, California. The teams started their morning with a long on-route enduro heading south through Rasor OHV and, ultimately, ending up in the iconic Johnson Valley OHV area.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 4

The Rebelle Rally has officially reached the first dunes of the competition! On a multi-loop competition day, teams tested their mettle in the sand and surrounding rocky terrain. Featuring a long desert loop including the iconic Sperry Wash, the southeastern edge of Death Valley, and skirting the Kingston Range Wilderness, competitors were able to enjoy their time on this extended loop with fewer checkpoints and big views of the landscape, finishing up in the dunes of Little Dumont.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 3

Rebelle Rally is more than just a competition and teams chasing checkpoints; it’s about working with our partners to preserve our natural resources and protect our land for future generations. The intense 483-kilometer DAY 3 route, was the second day of the first marathon stage. They started with the final on-time enduro before rejoining the pavement to avoid the sensitive wildlife areas of the Desert Wildlife Preserve and Ash Meadows Wildlife Preserve.

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 2

Today marked DAY 2 of the competition, which covered 282 kilometers and is the first of two Marathon Legs. Teams will camp out away from the amenities of basecamp, including mechanics and fuel. Teams departed Basecamp 1 and began the day with an on-time enduro, climbing into forested mountains before dropping into the expansive valleys Nevada is known for.

In the true spirit of the Rebelle, DAY 1’s course didn’t hold back, and teams were expected to jump into the first official day of competition with both feet. Today’s course had terrain that featured dry Nevada lake beds, big valleys, and plenty of technical driving, and it kicked off with an on-time enduro.
