Racquel’s Rebelle Journey, Classic Restorations & Must-Have Hoodie. Plus, ICYMI TEDx insights, spotlight on Andrea Bullard & fresh tips for spring.
Andrea has been with us since the very beginning. If you’re familiar with the Rebelle, you’re undoubtedly familiar with Andrea. From our beginnings with just 36 teams in Year One to consistently selling out and having a waitlist, Andrea has played a pivotal role in our journey.
For Racquel Black, the Rebelle Rally was more than just an off-road competition—it was a space to sharpen the skills she already carried with her. Growing up on the Navajo Nation meant resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving were second nature. But in the desert, surrounded by a team of strong women, she learned just how valuable those skills were in ways she hadn’t expected.
From Rebelle Founder & Director Emily Miller – Feeling lost can be terrifying. But the typical response and spiral—panic, freezing up, or blaming—are NOT inevitable.

“At Tech Inspection in 2021, my rookie year, I sent a down payment on 200+ acres of raw land in New Hampshire just before we shut down our electronics.”
Since then, she and her family have built up a homestead, farm, and orchard. This spring, they’ll add another 350+ fruit and fodder trees and three goats to their property. “It has been an adventure.”

As the 9th edition of the Rebelle Rally came to a close this past Saturday, competitors and partners celebrated with a day of Tread Lightly! Trail Cleanup, massages, and the annual Busby Games. They capped off the evening with Rebellation gala and awards ceremony at the final basecamp in Johnson Valley.
For the final day of competition, DAY 7 was split between two very distinctive sets of checkpoints, with the first 12 checkpoints of the day being in the Glamis Dunes and on route Enduro to Johnson Valley. Just because the finish line wasn’t in the Imperial Dunes this year didn’t mean the final route wasn’t challenging.
Rebelle Rally competitors are pushing toward the finish line. DAY 6, presented by TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication, is the first of two days in Glamis spent chasing checkpoints among the giant dunes. Teams departed 30 minutes early this morning to transit 290 kilometers from their final basecamp down to their last marathon leg, where their self-camp is located for the evening.
The competition is heating up as Rebelles left Dumont Dunes today to made their way further south to the final basecamp on Soggy Lake, nestled down in Johnson Valley, California. The teams started their morning with a long on-route enduro heading south through Rasor OHV and, ultimately, ending up in the iconic Johnson Valley OHV area.
