Barlow and Petereit have competed on opposing teams in past rallies, but joined forces in 2021. The team will be competing again this year in a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the PHEV (plug-in hybrid) with a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline motor mated to 400-volt electric power. Nena Barlow has lived in Arizona most of her life. She owns and operates Barlow Adventures, which provides 4wd training, Jeep rentals, and guided trips in the Southwest US. She also provides 4wd instruction for many participants in the rally. This will be the 6th time for Barlow in the Rebelle Rally, having brought home the Bone Stock Award and other podium trophies in previous years. Teralin Petereit has lived in Utah for most of her life. She has competed in the Rebelle Rally for the past five years, earning a spot on the podium every year she’s competed, with a first place finish in three of them! She currently lives in Toquerville, Utah where she is a nurse, and a nursing student at Utah Tech University working on her BSN. The duo is looking forward to showcasing the new 4xe Jeep, and they plan to have a great time doing it!

I love the desert, and the ocean, and tend to move back and forth between the two.
It's an endurance competition that pushes me to my limits, and I love it! I have a great teammate and amazing partners backing me up, and I wouldn't want to miss it.
My Aunt Julie is my biggest inspiration to chase my dreams. She is the perfect example of working hard for what she wants, and for always genuinely believing in me and helping me believe in myself.
Books? Shows? What’s that? I am working on my BSN right now, and have time for little else but to study… I’ll graduate in December, and then I’ll be ready for everyone else’s recommendations!

My first off-roading experience was tying a goat to my tricycle.
It's an amazing test of self reflection, and amazing people with whom to share amazing landscapes. It's a hard, fun and rewarding experience.
