Lisa and Pauline met when Lisa started the all-women Lioness Rally and was looking for female drivers to take part in it. It didn’t take long for the two to realize that they shared a lot in common like the love of speed, sheer grit, and constant pursuit of adventure. Both Lisa and Pauline are driven by the need to inspire and elevate other women to join rallying and live their best life.

I am a cancer survivor, now over 10 years cancer free. I love organizing bespoke Safaris and spending time in the wild.
As an all-women race, it is inspiring to be a part of it. Coming from Africa, it is a great opportunity to expand our rally experience globally and inspire other women to reach for their wildest dreams.
I am inspired by one of the top female drivers Michèle Mouton, the way she entered a male dominated sport many years ago and won several rally championships and how she pulled through what she did as a single mother. I am also inspired by Richard Branson because of his lust for adventure and his desire to break the bias and his challenges in many parts of the world, especially in Africa.
Books, podcasts and movies that inspire me are out of africa, of course it’s a classic, and all of Ernest Hemingway books. Hatari also inspires me a lot since my mother was part of it together with John Wayne. It was filmed in Tanzania where I was born and raised.
Starting the all-women Lioness rally club in Kenya and breaking the bias by getting the most number of women to compete in a rally.

I got into rallying after rolling in my car while being pursued by carjackers. After that incident, I vowed to only drive fast cars.
The Rebelle Rally is a great stage to prove to other women in Africa that you can pursue your dreams and achieve them at a global level.
My mother. She is a strong woman who has raised her family based on strong religious values and principles which have guided my siblings and I through life.
