I was in one of the 2 R1T’s that were the first ever EV’s to drive Black Bear Pass in Colorado.
I don’t have a big why, but what I can say is it feels like a cosmic opportunity. It’s a culmination of right place, right time, right opportunity.
I think what inspires and excites me most is the possibility that from one day to the next you can have an experience, or meet someone new that can change the entire course of your life.

I hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls when I was 9 years old.
Rivian has given its employees this unique and amazing opportunity to have the chance to compete and I am so grateful to be a part of this experience. I think timing has a lot to do with it. After entering prototypes and pre-production trucks into the two previous years, they’re putting full production trucks into the competition this year, and who better to showcase them and represent the company than their own employees.
Nature’s resilience is awe inspiring.
