We met each other about 4 years ago and have since become neighbors and friends. We both have young kids that love to play together and two of them are in the same class at daycare. Our families both love to explore the outdoors and go camping. Tobi got started making sourdough when Cara gave her some of her sourdough starter and it has been a true friendship ever since.

I used to teach middle school language arts and now I own and manage a water well drilling company.
I’ve been following the Rebelle for years and have been so excited by the idea of challenging myself in a way that pushes you to become more independent and introspective. I was waiting for the perfect year to do the rally when I had extra time and when my kids didn’t need me as much, but then I decided that since there might never be a perfect time, to just jump in and do it now.
I am constantly inspired by the strong women in my life. I come from a family with an emergency room doctor for a mother who has always pushed herself to be the best professionally and personally despite challenges and it is impossible to not be inspired by her and want to live up to her example.
