Mia is the Emerging Platforms Director at Cosmopolitan and is a multi-hyphenate, creator who oversees the brand’s TikTok, Snapchat, and social-first projects. Her content spans the gamut from learning how to drive a manual transmission to what every driver should know about hybrid and EV vehicles.
Mara is the Associate Creative Director at Hearst Autos and the resident automotive and motorsports expert. She’s a track habitué that knows her way around the garage and is the host of the Car School 101 mini series on Cosmopolitan’s TikTok.
Together, these two make up “The Cosmos” Team #192—an epic collaboration between Lexus, Cosmopolitan, Car and Driver, and Hearst Autos.

Having trained for a marathon, I’ve learned that the best way to self-improve is to push yourself beyond what you think you’re capable of doing—because you can do it. I’m a big planner and love to be meticulous about the timelines that I plan my life around. As I get older, I realize that spontaneity can be a great thing and teach you lessons that you’re meant to learn at the perfect moment. So the question for me isn’t “why now?”—it’s “why not now?”
