The Co-Pilots

This year’s Honda team is comprised of Hillary Tate, the bright eyed and “just peachy” go getter returning for her second race, and Liz Long, the 3 year Rebelle veteran and 2021 wind storm survivor.
Hillary Tate has been on the HART Rebelle Rally team for 3 years, supporting vehicle prep and completing navigation training until her debut in 2022. Hillary works for American Honda on nation wide construction projects. Hillary exudes confidence, has a glowing smile that spreads joy, and cannot wait to compete this year.
Liz Long is a 3 year Rebelle veteran and is looking forward to the rally this year. She has worked at HDMA for 9 years as a chassis reliability test engineer. In her job, she tests to make sure Hondas and Acuras stay reliable for the life of the car. Liz is kind at heart and works hard at guiding the HART Rebelle team.
Liz and Hillary have been working together on the Honda Rebelle team since 2021. This year they have grown closer and have been working to become a cohesive team ready to Rebelle.

You get hooked! After racing in 2022, I’m back for the challenge, back for the comradery, and back to see what else we can overcome, together.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

My parents. They are so giving and supportive to me, my family, and everyone they meet!

I am deeply committed to my family and inspired by my husband everyday, while also pursuing a thrilling and challenging role as the leader of a Rebelle team in partnership with Honda. I aspire to do my best everyday and keep myself grounded.

This is a lifechanging event that is always challenging.

My husband inspires me the most. He is an amazing man that pushes me to be my best everyday, even if I am having a bad day.
