It all started in Amboy, 2022. Ahhh, the year of the frightening masked child! Shelby has an irrational fear of scary masks, and was by far the masked child’s favorite prey! Rori and Shelby happened to be sitting at the same dinner table, and when Shelby returned from the restroom – running and in tears – an organic, genuine, laugh out loud, connective moment happened. They now thank the scary, masked child for giving the two a good laugh, and a great memory. Their friendship bloomed on night 5 of the 2022 Rebelle Rally. Both lovers of the outdoors, dogs and competition: these two have had a blast becoming friends and better cockpits mates since teaming up in 2023!

In 2021, after 33 years in Reno, NV, I decided I needed a change of scenery. So I put all my belongings into storage, and rented a sight-unseen 500 sq ft apartment in an oceanside town I’d never been to. It was the best decision I have made yet!
