Who’s behind door #106? A little wild, a little grace, a whole lotta Rebelle. Welcome back Team #106 Wild Grace, Sedona Blinson and Lyn Woodward!
The duo is returning together for the third time this year, although Sedona is a 100% Rebelle (competitor every year) and this will be Lyn’s fourth Rebelle Rally. They’re also coming back in a Nissan for the third year in a row and fun fact – Nissan is the only car manufacturer to have sent a team every single year since 2016.
With their best-ever finish in 2020, both are looking forward to another epic adventure this October of pushing limits, expanding skills, and exploring America’s glorious Southwest – all the way to the finish line.
Get to know more about them below!
Hometown/Current town:
Sedona: Apache Junction, AZ/Sierra Vista, AZ
Lyn: New York City, NY/Los Angeles, CA
Favorite Food:
Sedona: Brownies.
Lyn: Anything with cheese on it, melted or otherwise.
Something only your best friend knows about you:
Sedona: I’ll stop nearly anything to pet a dog.
Lyn: I think Roger Moore was a better Bond than Connery.
Favorite place ever:
Sedona: Sunset at the Superstition Mountains.
Lyn: Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy or Moab, Utah depending on the car I’m driving.
Why did you pick the vehicle you’re competing in?
Sedona: Well-designed, small, great power. Nissan nailed it!
Lyn: Size, power, it’s the most ideal for the Rebelle. Oh, and it looks badass.
Why the Rebelle?
Sedona: The Rebelle is an event that makes impacts on people. I love being a part of this event that brings people together and creates change every year. It’s more than a rally or a competition.
Lyn: It’s a week I get to disappear from my life and live my life.
Any shout-outs you’d like to make while you have our attention?
Sedona: It never fails that my family is getting me through another year of preparing for the Rebelle. Nissan for being so on board with Team Wild Grace and with the Rebelle. Lyn for being an incredible friend that I am lucky enough to be on a team with.
Lyn: For some reason my parents don’t think I’m crazy doing this. I appreciate that I work for a company, Kelley Blue Book/Cox Automotive, supports me doing this event that is more about my personal development than what it gets them professionally. Nissan is hands down the best partner to work with. Emily Miller is the human equivalent of Liquid Plumber. If I could for sure meet up with someone in my next life I’m calling dibs on Sedona Blinson.
