Teammate compatibility and goals are the most fundamental aspects of competing and finishing the Rebelle Rally.
In early 2022, Tasha had just moved across the country (from OH to WA) and met with other WA Rebelles for dinner. There, Kendra Miller mentioned that Eliza Coleman’s best friend (Michelle) was competing as a Rookie and needed a new Navi, after a dune training showed how incompatible she and her planned teammate were. After a few phone calls to double check goals and compatibility, Team Gritty Up was formed! We finished 11th Overall in the 2022 Rebelle Rally, and we can’t wait to come back for 2023!

I've been working on cars since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver. Restorations, modifications, maintenance, you name it.
Every year I compete in the Rebelle, I learn something new about myself. How I handle certain scenarios, mindsets under stress, competing as a rookie with another rookie, competing as a veteran Rebelle with a rookie, etc. This year will be great to come back with the same teammate who isn't a rookie anymore, and to see how much we can grow even more together.
My boyfriend and family encourage and support me, giving me extra confidence in what I think I can achieve. I recently lost my job (working for an EV start-up company), so this year's Rebelle will have a different outlook.

Every year I've done the Rebelle! And my move across the country with my boyfriend at the beginning of 2022. We recently started building a stage rally vehicle, so more adventures to come!

I have always wanted to own a coffee shop/patisserie, a place people would gather and feel safe and happy there.
I get to celebrate this Rebelle alongside my best friend Eliza Coleman (Sasquatch Rebelles), who I missed dearly last year, along with my teammate and friend, Tasha, and of course Kendra, Eliza's navigator and friend! This will be a special year to compete, one I will cherish every day.
Just the fact that this is so far out of my wheelhouse in my daily life, and to be able to do something like this with people like this, the camaraderie, and the challenge just allows you to push harder and be better every day. My husband is my biggest cheerleader, encourager, and supporter.
