10TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 8 – 18, 2025

#159

The Desert Belles

On a crisp December morning in Southern California’s high desert, two adventurous women and their friends arrived at the Pioneertown parking lot, expecting nothing more than a casual day of off-roading. Little did they know, they were on the brink of an incredible journey that would ultimately lead them to the Rebelle Rally. Since that day, they have been diligently laying a solid foundation to conquer any challenges that lie ahead!

Favorite Quote:

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”-Hunter S Thompson

Fun Fact:

I love to cycle! I once completed a 55 mile ride with 4,000 feet of elevation gain. It's a community ride called the Joshua Tree 55.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

After experiencing the Rebelle Rally last year as a rookie I knew had to come back and compete again. I loved the combination of the competition, camaraderie, and unexpected challenges daily.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

This person has been there for me since high school, and has encouraged and supported me in more ways than I thought possible. The example set in their life and career has always pushed me to be stronger and braver, and inspired me to believe that I can do anything I set my mind to. This person is my husband, Jason Harbert.

This past summer I had the opportunity to run the Rubicon Trail with family and a few friends for the first time. The trail was unrelenting, the scenery breathtaking, and the challenge of getting all the rigs through obstacle after obstacle was invigorating.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

I've been following the Rebelle Rally for years, and initially, it felt like a distant dream to think about competing. So, when a friend who has participated invited me to be her navigator, I was overjoyed—it's still hard to believe it's actually happening this year!

Who, or what, inspires you most?

I find inspiration in people who embrace life's challenges and emerge stronger from them.
