We met each other about 5 years ago and became friends. We both have young kids that love to play together and our families both love to explore the outdoors and go camping. Tobi got started making sourdough when Cara gave her some of her sourdough starter and it has been a true friendship since. Last year, Tobi was signed up to compete in the Rebelle and Cara agreed to be her navigator, both getting addicted to the challenge of the Rebelle after that rookie year.

I am a mother of three, a business owner, a runner, an avid reader, and a compulsive trip planner. My family and I love doing anything outdoors, we spend as much time as we can off-roading, camping, boating, hiking, running, kayaking, skiing, and anything we can to be outside together.

I have been to 24 National Parks, completed half marathons in Glacier, Zion, and Mt. Rainier, and have completed adventure runs in Costa Rica and Croatia.
The Rebelle Rally is unlike any other challenge or competition and it pushes you to grow in so many ways. After completing my rookie year last year, I had to sign up again to be able to grow and do better with everything I learned in the that first year.
I am constantly inspired by the strong women in my life. I come from a family with an emergency room doctor for a mother who has always pushed herself to be the best professionally and personally despite challenges and it is impossible to not be inspired by her and want to live up to her example.

I gave myself my first black eye when ice climbing with my husband.
I was completely hooked after last year—it’s such a fun, challenging, and exhilarating competition, unlike anything else. I had been so focused on my kids for the past few years, and now that they're out of the newborn stage, it’s rewarding to have something that’s just for me.
