“If Honda does not race, there is no Honda.” – Soichiro Honda

HART is an all Honda associate volunteer race team, created with the purpose of providing a proving ground to develop skills and experience for associates to apply back into their everyday roles within the company. For Adia and Madison, it’s the challenging spirit that attracted them both to the program, and it’s been the steadfast friendships they made which further their passion.

Fun Fact:

I am the lead fueler for a professional race car team (IMSA).

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

Motorsport; check. Math; check. Activities that terrify my mother; BIG CHECK. Honda's normal crew is wrapped up with life's other adventures, so this freshman just made the varsity squad and is ready to give it her all.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

Growing up, there were a few role models that helped me choose the nontraditional path through life. Looking back now, I strive to be the person that struck awe in that little girl and encouraged her to pursue her passions.

Greatest adventure to date?

Trying to crew chief 2 endurance sports cars in one race, with an all rookie crew, while helping cook for 24 people, and to top it all off - getting gluten poisoning (celiac disease is no fun!). No spoilers, but many mango popsicles were eaten in the parking lot that evening.

Fun Fact:

I traveled to all 50 stats before I turned 18! And I am currently working towards going to all US National Parks before I turn 50.

Why the Rebelle? Why now?

I learned about Rebelle last year about this time and it seemed like a new challenge to push myself to new limits. Additionally, the community that is Rebelle seemed like a family I needed to be a part of and would fit really well with. So naturally, when you find people that could become your family why wait to seek them out.

Who, or what, inspires you most?

My family, my community and the little girls out there that will be able to see anything is possible when you act on your crazy dreams.

Greatest adventure to date?

My greatest adventure to date was riding roughly 600 miles on a tandem bicycle with my dad as a part of RAGBRAI, an annual ride across Iowa (West to East). We spent a week riding through towns small and large, building a community, camping and enjoying life away from the hustle
