Laura and Penny met as rookies in the class of 2018. We’ve been friends ever since, always cheering each other on at the plot table while competing for the podium. This year we decided to join forces as teammates representing Ford Performance in our Rebelle-ready Bone Stock Bronco Raptor.

I was one of the first competitive female pole vaulters in the US.
I enjoy the spirit of the competition and the camaraderie of all of the women. There are not many opportunities left in this world where you can completely disconnect and be entirely present in the moment. I look forward to the quiet intensity of the trails and the constant challenges that await us in this next competition.
My parents. I am grateful that they inspired me to try new things, fail forward and enjoy the outdoors.

My personal mantra is “say yes” - the rest is figure-out-able.
This will be my sixth year competing in the Rebelle Rally. Every year is incredible and distinct; it’s so much fun reconnecting with lifelong friends and fellow competitors made over the years, sharing meals and the stories of the day. I also always look forward to seeing what the rally reveals to me. Each year I learn new lessons about myself that make me a more resilient, resourceful and thoughtful human.
