9TH RALLY EDITION: OCTOBER 10 – 19, 2024

Rebelle Rally Field Update: Day 1

October 12th, 2024  (Twin Springs, NV)

In the true spirit of the Rebelle, DAY 1’s course didn’t hold back, and teams were expected to jump into the first official day of competition with both feet. Today’s course had terrain that featured dry Nevada lake beds, big valleys, and plenty of technical driving, and it kicked off with an on-time enduro. Emily Miller, Founder of the Rebelle Rally, shared that this was a great day for drivers and the course “Today was a gift, especially for drivers. There were sections where they could drive without the tediousness of checkpoints and long stretches of road that were classic Nevada driving, which they will miss when they get further south to the Mojave area. Of course, we included some fun technical driving and navigating to keep teams on their toes.”

From the start line, teams dove into an on-time enduro challenge and, once complete, split into groups for two loops to spread out the competitors. The “short loop” consisted of more technical driving. In contrast, the “extended loop” featured checkpoints across a dry lakebed, stunning views of Goblin Knob and the Reveille Mountain Range, and a quick jaunt across the Extraterrestrial Highway.
