As the year comes to a close, it’s with gratitude that we look back on 2023 milestones. From an expanded Rebelle U training program to the exciting debut of Rebelle Trials, the inaugural Art of Rebelle Presented by Pirelli held in Los Angeles, and record-breaking 8th edition with most teams ever, this year has been defined by monumental moments. And it wouldn’t all be possible without the unwavering support from our incredible competitors, partners, audience, and dedicated staff. As we celebrate the holiday season, we wish you and your family a Happy New Year filled with joy – and hopefully some exciting adventures along the way.

Rebelle Wins at SEMA
At the globally renowned SEMA Show (Speciality Equipment Market Association) in Las Vegas this year, the Rebelle Rally and Founder Emily Miller received two prestigious awards in recognition of significant contributions to the automotive sector. These awards acknowledge dedication to its advancement and development.
Rebelle Forward
The Rebelle Rally has long been associated with sustainability, stewardship, and environmental responsibility through conservation, education, and boots-on-the-ground projects. As one of the pillars of Rebelle Impact, the principle of “what happens beyond the competition and score matters most” was introduced. To further this idea in 2023, Rally Founder Emily Miller introduced Rebelle Forward, a new addition to the Rebelle family. Rebelle Forward was designed to be a forum to showcase our partner’s work on projects and initiatives that are leading the way in responsible innovations.
Rebelle in the News: Cosmopolitan
Cosmopolitan’s own Mia Ladiere took a big step competing in this year’s Rebelle, despite having no prior off-roading experience and a strong dislike for camping (she does love doing things for a story, though). Mia’s approach, coupled with her willingness to confront challenges head-on, led her to experience some valuable lessons out on the trail. She candidly shares lessons learned with the readers, proving that facing challenges can result in extraordinary growth.
Team Feature: Team Brouck Sisters
The 2023 Rebelle Rally was an unforgettable experience for so many teams. Still, for one international team, it was an adventure from start to finish, including their journey to the start line. Meet Team #177 Brouck Sisters (Maureen and Hortense Brouck), who learned about the Rebelle Rally five years ago and made it their mission to compete. Their passion for off-roading came from their father, and the sisters were determined to make their first visit to America a memorable one. Meet Maureen & Hortense, winners of the first “Perseverance Award” – an award that we created after learning their story.

Rebelle U Presented by Pennzoil is the training arm of Rebelle with courses in driving, navigation and supporting education that prepares you for a life of adventure and rally. What makes Rebelle U stand apart? It starts with our curriculum honed after years of development, top-notch instructors with decades of experience, a coaching model and memorable, authentic experiences. Our mission is to help you build a platform of success.
While we train participants in scaffolded skills and lessons, we go beyond and implement individualized coaching as necessary to help students build and refine technique or break poor habits. We sit right seat (or left) to help your driving and navigating skills get to the next level.
